VSAT Regulation and Licensing

The Communications and Media Commission (CMC) of the Republic of Iraq is planning to introduce new regulations for the licensing of VSAT communications in Iraq.  Attached is the proposed draft regulation and licensing rules to be introduced before the end of 2010.  As part of the regulatory process adopted by the CMC and to ensure that international regulatory bodies and all public comments and suggestions are taken into account the CMC invites fellow TRAs and the Iraqi public to send their comments on the proposed regulation to:VSAT.comments@cmc.iq

The closing date for accepting comments will be noon time on 21th September 2010.
