On the Fringe of Future Communications Network Conference,
A delegation of Participant Professors Visits CMC

On the fringe of the 1st International Conference on Future Communications Networks, which is held in Baghdad for the period from 10 to 12/4/2012 by Al-Nahrain University under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, a delegation of professors and scientists participating in the conference visited on Wednesday the CMC's headquarters to have a close look on the performance and the mechanisms of action inside the organization.

The delegation was received by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners (acting CEO) Dr. Safaa Al-Din Rabee; Commissioners Dr. Ali Nassir Al-Khuweildi, Dr. Sarkawt Namiq, Engineer Ahmed Al-Omari; and a number of departments' managers and officials.

Following Dr. Rabee's brief summary on the Commission, its departments and mechanisms of action, the delegation toured the departments and sections of the Commission, and visited the department of frequency management to know more about the mechanism of its work, equipment and vehicles used in the monitoring process. The visitors visited as well the departments of Audio & Visual Monitoring and VoC.

The guests raised a number of questions on the Commission and the obstacles that face its functions, which questions were all answered by the members of the Board.

It is worthmentioning that CMC, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Communications, and Korek Telecom Co. participate in the event.
