Egyptian NTRA Delegation Visits CMC

In response to CMC's invitation, Egypt's National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority delegation, accompanied by MoC senior technical deputy Ameer Al-Bayaty, visited on Sunday CMC headquarters.

The delegation was received by the chairman of CMC's Board of Commissioners (Acting CEO) Dr. Safa Al-Din Rabee; Commissioners Dr. Ali Nasir Al-Kwailidy, Dr. Sarkot Namiq, Mr. Salim Mashkoor, Mr. Jasim Al-Lami, Mr. Ali Al-Awsi; and managers of CMC departments.

The visiting delegation included the chairman of NTRA Dr. Omar Badawy, chairman of IT Regulatory department Dr. Yassir Al-Qadhy, and a number of NTRA members and officials.

Dr. Rabee briefed the visitors on the role of CMC in regulating media and telecommunications sectors. The officials discussed ways of exchanging experiences and opening up fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Badawy expressed his pleasure to visit CMC and hoped that it would lead to boost relations and exchange interests between the two countries. He noted that such meetings and visits have positive effects in communications field progress.
