
As part of Du3M 2025 initiative programs.. CMC concludes the first specialized course on Iraq’s level of “Internet of Things”| technology
CMC concluded the first specialized course of (IoT and its applications) on Iraq’s level. More than 50 trainees specialized in communication and information technology field participated in Najaf. The course launched on 17th March 2019 and ended on 25th March 2019 in CMC- Middle Euphrates Branch in Najaf. Trainees received extensive lectures about “Internet of Things” importance. “Internet of Things”: is a concept that includes daily things, starting from software, electronic computers, and industrial machinery to the wearable devices, by using integrated sensors for data collection. Procedures are taken for data across Internet. Therefore sensors are being used automatically to control warmth and lighting, or warning maintenance personnel by production instruments in case of emergency failure. Simply, “Internet of Things” is the future technology that can make our lives more effective.
The specialist Mr. Ahmed Idrees lectured in the course, and concluded the session thanking. praising and appreciating CMC efforts for adopting specialized academic elites and serious endeavors to back up the young segment of graduates of “Communications” and “Information Technology” specializations, stressing on the importance of such special courses that would contribute in the development of trainees skills and abilities. At the end of the course during distributing certificates to the trainees CMC- Middle Euphrates Branch Manager pointed out that Du3M initiative Strategy gave large spaces for CMC to go forward to develop the Iraqi telecommunications sector and to find a solid infrastructures through cadres development of elite specialized youth. He pointed out to hold another specialized course in coming days In order to create an Iraqi technological generation that will keep up with the modern and rapid developments in the world.
Course graduates expressed their gratitude to CMC for launching such specialized courses at Iraq level. They express their full readiness to provide working projects that would contribute in the development of “Communications” and “Information and Technology” in Iraq.
It is worth mentioning that Du3M 2025 initiative launched early in the current year by CMC included several strategic programs for the development of Communications and Information Technology sectors in Iraq according to well studied temporal plans that will be continued till 2025. That is the period scheduled to reach such a technological structure for all axis and state institutions.
