CMC Chief Executive Officer received Dr. Naeem Al – Rubaie Communications Minister to discuss organizing communications and informatics in Iraq.
On 21st May 2019 morning, Dr. Ali Nasser Alkhwaildi CMC- Chief Executive Officer received Dr. Naeem Al– Rubaie Communications Minister at CMC headquarters.
The two sides held a meeting attended by Mr. Ashraf Aldahan -Commissioners Council Chairman. ICT sector status in Iraq, ways of developing this vital sector and the necessities of cooperation between the Ministry and CMC, communications and information laws were discussed in the meeting, as well as mobile advanced generations and the importance of telecommunications services, best investment, mechanisms for infrastructure and the necessities to develop them.
Dr. Al-Khuwaildi welcomed the Minister hoping that such visit would be repeated in order to exchange information and expertise to enhance the work performance of both CMC and Ministry of Communications.
In return, Communications Minister expressed his gratitude for the good hospitality, stressing on ministry’s readiness to open cooperation prospects in fields of telecommunications and informatics to achieve country’s interest.
Later on, Dr. Al Rubaie toured in CMC offices and departments during which he reviewed CMC organizational work mechanisms in the field of media, communications, and information technology, as well as implementing the terms of Du3M 2025 initiative launched by CMC in early 2019.
